CHOCOLATE 2012: A Celebration of Electronic Music

Dive into the electric atmosphere of CHOCOLATE 2012 through my vibrant video project, a dynamic representation of Lausanne’s premier electronic music festival, which took place on 3rd and 4th of June. Filmed and edited by me, the video captures the spirit of the festival, the electrifying performances, and the enthusiastic crowd.

CHOCOLATE 2012 boasted a diverse lineup of top-tier artists from across the globe, including Adana Twins from Germany, Anja Schneider and Bebetta from Berlin, Dubfire from the USA, Flug from Spain, Lilly Palmer and VNTM Live from Amsterdam, Midas 104 Live, and Pauli Pocket from Berlin, Rodriguez Jr. Live from France, Teenage Mutants from Germany, and Undercatt from Italy. Swiss talents such as Claudya, Definition & Natascha Polké from Zurich, Djerry C, Nicolas Duvoisin, Tarba, Kaël, FRÅDERIK, and Hervé Solar also graced the event, contributing to the eclectic soundscape.

The event, which attracted an impressive 5,000 attendees, culminated in an after-party at the popular D! Club in Lausanne, a highlight vividly captured in the video.

CHOCOLATE began as a cultural association with the aim of promoting electronic music and associated arts. The festival was first organized in 2006 on a small scale, featuring seven regional artists and 200 spectators. The event has grown significantly since then, becoming a must-attend event in the Swiss cultural landscape.

The video project provides an intimate look into the evolution of CHOCOLATE, showcasing the quality and dynamism that has established it as the number one electronic music festival in Lausanne. It is a testament to the festival’s 17-year journey, which has presented over 245 artists and contributed significantly to the thriving regional electronic music scene.
