The VJs TV project was developed on WordPress CMS using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and Bootstrap framework. A form was created on the website to allow artists from across the world to submit their projects. The submitted projects were then aggregated and reposted on the website.
On 15th December 2012, the website was launched, and it showcased a compilation of over 1000 videos from VJs, designers, and artists based around the world. The videos were carefully selected to offer a mind-blowing insight into everything from video projection mapping to interactive art, lumen installations to sonic installations. The website had a modern, clean, and crisp design, and it had something for everybody.
The website featured a simple interface with pull-down menus that made it easy to find the right video within seconds. VjsTV.com, as the name suggests, not only offered an extensive library of the world’s best videos but also a unique ad-free TV option. By clicking only two times, users could access a continuous full-screen random selection of videos based on the category they chose. There were no breaks, no ads, just a non-stop selection of stunning videos.
VJsTV.com grew quickly and added new videos daily. Upcoming bands, artists, and designers were welcome to submit their videos via the website. The VJs TV project was a huge success, providing an outstanding platform for artists to showcase their talents to a global audience.
